Ministry of Listening and Prayer

A ministry of listening and prayer is available in the  Memorial Chapel over coffee after the 9.30 Service on  Sundays. The listeners have been on a Christian Listening training course and all discussions are confidential. Other times can be arranged  by appointment.

Music at St. John's

Music at St John’s is a charitable company which seeks to promote music and the performing arts within the community of Boxmoor and Hemel Hempstead.  As well as promoting concerts, recitals and other musical events, including lunchtime concerts on Fridays during Spring/Summer and Autumn, it also organises educational events for schoolchildren, and seeks to help young people with some of the costs of their musical studies by means of a bursary scheme.

Saturday Morning Coffee

The doors of St. John’s are always open on Saturday  mornings from 10.00am  to 12.00 noon for coffee or tea.  Some people like to combine this with a trip to the town centre or time praying quietly in the Memorial Chapel or Garden of Remembrance.

St. John's Women's Fellowship

We meet on the third Friday of the month at 2.30pm in the Church Hall to share fellowship and love with prayers, Bible readings and sometimes a speaker. All ladies are welcome to join us, whether or not they attend St. John's.
